Israel Social TV is an independent media organization working to promote social change, human rights, social justice, and equality, as well as to mobilize its viewers towards activism. Israel Social TV was established in 2006 out of the belief that objective and diverse media is crucial for a healthy democracy in Israel. Its reporting focuses on social injustices and human rights violations, and serves to amplify marginalized groups and voices that often represent unpopular opinions, and which are underrepresented in mainstream media.

WATCH: Returning to the site of the Deir Yassin massacre

Every year, to mark the Nakba, Israeli organization Zochrot organizes a tour returning to the site of Deir Yassin, where Zionist militias massacred over 100 people in 1948. Today, the Givat Shaul neighborhood of Jerusalem and a psychiatric hospital stand in its place. Not everyone is happy about the tours.
